Writing For Life - Training Resources For People With A Disability
Providing Independence For People With A Disability, Teachers & Support Workers!

Training Resources designed to teach independent living skills to teenagers and young adults with a disability. Choose from two programs:

"Working In Today's World - Everything You Need To Know About Finding & Keeping A Job"

"Living Independently - A Journey Towards Independence".

Both programs contain a Teachers Manual which has all the lesson plans done for you as well as group discussion questions, extra hands on activities not included in the Student Manual, excursions, internet activities, role plays, resources needed for each lesson as well as answers for all the workbook activities.

The Working In Today's World program runs for 200 hours (1 hour a week for two years)

and the Living Skills Program runs for 100 hours (1 hour a week for one year).

With 10 years experience working in a Disability Employment Service and Co-ordinating a Transition To Work program I understand the need to have programs which not only teach employment skills and foster independence but include hands on activities which engage the client/student.

Choose to teach your students and clients skills they can use to succeed in life and motivate them to enjoy learning!
